A stay in hospital is never pleasant for a child.
Designed by Me  is a special project being under taken by the WCH Foundation at the Women's and Children's Hospital in Adelaide. The WCH Foundation raises funds for the hospital and its many projects. Designed by Me allows children to design their own bedroom space whilst in the hospital ward. Patients can choose their wall sticker kit and set about arranging the stickers to create a friendly, comfortable space away from the safety of home.

BoscoBear and the Designed by Me project. BoscoBear wall sticker kits used in the project range from dinosaurs to butterflies.Wall stickers are ideal for the purpose as the designs are both colourful and appealing. The stickers are easy to remove and re- arrange as the mood changes.

A welcome distraction.
Some young patients spend more time in hospital than in their own bedrooms. It is not unusual for patients to regularly spend weeks at a time in hospital under going intense treatment.  Through the  Designed by Me  project, the WCH Foundation strives to assist children create a home away from home. WCH Foundation CEO Sam Tolley comments that "the sticker kits are a simple way of helping young patients retain some control over their environment as well as a distraction from the treatment and procedures they may be undergoing."
