What’s in a name?

One our favourite things with having a personalised children's website of labels, party invitation and room art is that you see some amazing children’s and babies names.

As a mum, it is exciting to see some of the fabulous names of our little people who enter the world of BoscoBear. The designs they create, the colours they choose and the icons they select are terrific! However it is their personalisation (ie; their name is the most important and fun part of the BoscoBear puzzle). We really do marvel at some of the fantastic names our parents choose for their little ones. And, on seeing these wonderful names printed on our products, it gives me a little extra kick :-)

This year our Australian sales have experienced some interesting parallels which I would like to share with you.

Like the state register for births, deaths and marriages BoscoBear popular boys names have included Jack (the number one name in NSW and VIC for 2007), William (ranked number two in 2007 in NSW), Cooper and James. We also have some beautiful little girls names that have featured on our BoscoBear products. Isobel, Ella, Chloe, Sienna and Olivia have been a few of the more popular names, with unusual yet beautiful girls names Declyn, Annecy, Et and Mackenzy also featuring. Our mums and dad’s really have been very clever and creative!

I like Chloe or Jessica, but Isabella or Alice is pretty for girls!
